A Matter of Light and Depth: 21 July – 15 August 2026

Opening event: Tuesday 21 July 5.30-7pm, all welcome.
Nine local artists respond to the theme with lush beauty, intensity and mystery. Bringing together painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, and jewellery, the exhibition slips between translucence and opacity as artists explore what we choose to reveal – and what we keep in the shadows.
Some lean into the pun on life and death; others play with surface and interiority, the frivolous and the meaningful, visibility and concealment. It’s a show of contrasts where light and depth invite reflection.
Floor talks with the curator, Dr Liz Boldt, will take place every Saturday at 11am throughout the exhibition. Just turn up for a guided tour around the show.
