TOPICS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS:

  • Enchanting Beads: jewellery and ornaments with Tamara Rookes. Explore the many ways we can use beads to make jewellery or ornamental pieces for display. Create your own beads, use the ones we have in our supply or bring your own (optional). Nourish your mind and unleash your creativity! No experience needed.

  • PLAY – EXPLORE – PROCESS with Winnie Whyte. Explore a range of therapeutic art modalities and mediums each week and connect with fellow creators in the community. No experience needed. All materials supplied.

  • OPEN CREATIVE ARTS STUDIO with Viv Kepes and Winnie Whyte. Explore a range of mediums across each session, work on spontaneous or ongoing creative projects and connect with fellow creators. These classes are not suitable for under 14s.
  • YOGA – DANCE – MEDITATE with Jessie Maclaurin – yoga teacher and movement facilitator. A warm and inclusive class where you are guided to connect through gentle movement and mindfulness practices to support wellbeing. All bodies welcome. Not suitable for young children.

  • Piecing Back the Fragments: Enjoy breaking and re-making with mosaics made from broken pieces of ceramics and other objects. These classes are not suitable for children.

  • Creative Mark Making with Briedi McCrostie. Mark making is about the joy of the process, it is playful and experimental and can encourage a calm state of presence. This class is about combating perfectionism, opening up to new discoveries and taking time to self-soothe. We will engage with materials as a process for personal expression and mindfulness rather than focusing on a finished product.
  • Creative Mindfulness for Well-being with Megan Ocheduszko. Introducing creative ways to explore mindfulness for self reflection, expression and connection with others through the arts. The classes will engage in varying art making activities with a different focus each week (eg “Spring: new beginnings and what this means to the individual” and “looking at inner strengths”). Classes will introduce and develop skills in mindful art making, self-reflection and connection, using art as a process rather than a finished product.
